This preschool program is offered to children turning 4 years old on or before September 1, 2010. Children explore areas of interest through hands-on activities and investigation. On a daily basis, there are small and large group activities, dramatic play, creative art, scientific exploration, storytelling and literature, and outdoor play. The four year old classes take two field trips per year, with the locations dependent on interests of the children. This class helps children develop the necessary pre-reading and pre-writing skills needed for kindergarten. Classes are held 4 or 5 days per week, without parent.
