Kindergarten Enrichment
Northbrook Community Nursery School now offers a Kindergarten Enrichment class! The class is designed for Kindergarten students and focuses on both academic and social skills including reading, handwriting, math and scientific exploration. The curriculum parallels the goals of local Northbrook elementary schools and will be taught by two NCNS teachers who have solid backgrounds in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. The program is committed to individualized attention, which can be facilitated easily with the low teacher/student ratio. The class will meet two days a week from September through the end of May and will accommodate a maximum of 14 students. The class will be offered both in the morning and afternoon and there is an optional lunch program.
