Our Mission

Northbrook Community Nursery School, through the cooperation of its staff, Board of Directors, and parents, is committed to meeting the social, emotional and intellectual needs of each child. We strive to facilitate this development within a nuturing environment that enables each child to recognize his or her full potential.

Accreditation and Licensing

Northbrook Community Nursery School is licensed by the state of Illinois Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Parent Involvement

Parent involvement is critical not only in the governing of our school, but in the classroom as well. While we have an open door policy for parents to visit the school, we do offer parents three "special days" per year to spend in the classroom with their child.
