History

Northbrook Community Nursery School (NCNS) is a non-profit corporation, licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and accredited by the National Academy for Education of the Young Child (NAEYC).

The school was founded in 1952 by a group of parents. NCNS is a community nursery school serving the needs of local families. Located at 2700 Willow Road in Northbrook, near the intersection of Willow and Pfingsten Roads (at St. Peter's Community Church of Christ), NCNS is a non-denominational school and rents space from the church. The school is not affiliated with any religious organization.
