Today the dolphin class created salad spinner art by using a salad spinner, paint and a paper plate! This was a great activity to get those hand and finger muscles working. The children squeezed the paint onto the paper plate and then had to give the salad spinner a good spin to create their masterpiece! The children loved seeing their artwork when they took the lid off.
Here’s what you need for this fun and simple project:
– 1 salad spinner (a cheap one that only gets used for crafts)
– Paints in squeezable bottles
– Paper plates
Step 1: Place the paper plate on the bottom of the salad spinner and get your paints ready
Step 2: Squeeze different paint colors on the paper plate
Step 3: Place the salad spinner lid on top and spin
Step 4: Open the lid and see your new masterpiece
